In 2020, especially since the second half of the year, the growth of plant grow lights has been driven by multiple factors such as the legalization of cannabis in North America, the shortage of food and medicines and the increase in home isolation caused by the global epidemic, and the export has increased significantly year-on-year.
In the first half of 2021, exports continued the trend of high growth, driving the export of plant grow lights to 360 million US dollars in the first three quarters. However, it is worth noting that after entering the second half of the year, due to factors such as declining logistics efficiency and weakening of terminal demand, the strong momentum of plant growth lights has slowed down.
